HUAWEI — Portrait Shoot Production

A high-end portrait production shot entirely on the HUAWEI P30 Pro. Conceived to challenge the perceived boundary between smartphone and professional camera photography.

Overview

As part of an ongoing strategic responsibility for HUAWEI Germany, a portrait production

was conceived and shot entirely on the P30 Pro, with the goal of creating imagery

indistinguishable from professional camera work.

The Concept

Rather than a conventional brief, Berlin-based photographer duo ApricotBerlin was asked

a single question: what project have you always wanted to make? Creative freedom

was the strategy.

Key Achievements

  • Concept & Casting: Identified and commissioned ApricotBerlin as the executing photographers.
  • Publishing: simultaneously across HUAWEI Germany

and ApricotBerlin's own channels.
